I have been a member of AWA since arriving in Bahrain October 31, 2008. I have lived in England, Ireland, Singapore and Michigan since my husband Jim and I began our second expatriate experience in 1997. We lived in England when our daughters Kirsten and Shannon were small from 1979 to 1983. I have been a member of the AWA in Ireland and Singapore and served on the board in both countries. In Singapore, I was editor of our magazine, The Bamboo Telegraph. I have a Masters in a field that I love dearly, Psychiatric Social Work and have worked in both paid and volunteer positions in that capacity. It would be my pleasure to continue as Corresponding Secretary for this wonderful organisation.
